I have been thinking about translating their delicate beauty into the language of painting for a long time. As usual, it takes a coincidence for something to happen.
While walking through the nearby forest, I couldn't help but notice them. Subtle, yet distinct, they mark their presence with drops of purple. If you look closely, they are like royal velvet robes.
And yet in this painting they represent minimalism and modesty for me. They are like two musical notes frozen in time and silence between what was and what will come.

the limited edition of this painting comes in size w.24"x h.40" ready to hang or rolled canvas.
-Stretched: Ready to hang on wall. The canvas is wrapped over wooden stretchers, folded around the sides and attached on the back. The sides are painted in black. Hanging hardware comes preinstalled.
-Unstretched: Rolled canvas with a 3.5” white margin. Is not mounted. Needs to be brought to a framing shop to be stretched or framed.

Miniatures(3.5”x5.8”): Ready to hang canvas installed on wooden block.
Prints come with the artist’s signature and title in pencil on the back along with certificate of authenticity. All prints are made using archival ink which do not bleed or fade and last significantly longer than normal prints.
