Wild daylilies grow practically everywhere I live. When I brought them home, I found that each flower only lasts one day, and that another bloom in its place.
I found a beautiful interpretation of this phenomenon.
The daylily is associated with forgetfulness, or in some situations, they symbolize "forgetting worries." They are often gifted when someone is having a little bit of a rough patch, so that they can overcome and move on.
